Inaugural lecture of Prof. Dr. Rachel Ankeny

Repertoires for Philosophy in Practice and in Dialogue

The workshop has been designed to complement the Inaugural Lecture as well as representing key forward-looking research themes for the WUR Philosophy group, including a vision that philosophy is a pluralistic enterprise not limited by certain methods, approaches, literatures, or schools, but focused on common goals about the kinds of questions to ask, and how to understand our shared human endeavors including promotion of the good life for all particularly using the life sciences, given WUR’s focus. The workshop also will highlight research by senior and early career scholars across topics related to both Prof A. Ankeny and the broader group’s research interests to foster dialogues and collaborations.
